Oceanair SKYSOL Pleatedshade measuring guide

  1. Measure both the width and height of the aperture and any trim. The width of the blind fabric (X) is defined as the width of the aperture plus 20mm (13/16"). The height of the blind fabric (Y) is defined as the height of the aperture and any trim plus 80mm (3 1/8"), which includes sufficient space (50mm) (2") for the blind to be clear of the hatch or portlight and any trim when stowed (B).
  2. Ensure that you have sufficient space around the aperture to accommodate the overall size of the Pleatedshade both vertically and horizontally. This area is to be free from obstructions and away from any heat sources.
  3. Match the blind fabric X and Y measurements with the list of available sizes below. Always choose a larger size if unsure.
  4. The Pleatedshade has an angle suitability of up to 20° from vertical and a trim clearance of 15mm (5/8") (C). The blind can however be mounted onto raised blocks to increase clearance.
  5. Ensure that the thickness of the boat structure at the proposed mounting position is deep enough to prevent the fixing screws from breaking though (D).

4 hold down options are available for the SKYSOL Pleatedshade. Please call us if you would like an option other than popper.

Much nicer than curtains
Thursday, 9 February 2017  |

Updating our Sadler from curtains these blinds make the boat feel much more modern and spacey. Expensive for what they are, no spares are included so don't drop the tiny screws when fitting and they really work best on a totally flat surface otherwise pleats look uneven.
