The Halyard Restrainer mounts directly on the front of the mast below the Genoa Halyard sheave. The restrainer "deflects" halyard eliminating Halyard Wrap.

The small restrainer is for boats to 28' (8.5m).

The larger restrainer is for boats larger than 28' (8.5m).

Helpful Knowledgeable Staff

I contacted Seatech as I was suffering halyard wrap on my furling system although it had a diverter fitted. The staff were able to identify the cause, and advise on a way of preventing it. Goods were posted promptly and arrived the next morning. I was offered 2 option and recommended to purchase the lees expensive item. Rarely these day do you get companies prioritise customer service above profit. I shall be returning in the new year for a reefing system for a project yacht.
