The DG series plastic cable glands are made from UV stable nylon. They are available in an aperture range of 8 - 40mm and have an attractive, low profile shape. The range has passed independent rigorous dust and waterproof testing and rated IP68.

Each unit is supplied with clear fitting instructions and A4 stainless steel fixings. DG deck glands are easy to fit and do not require the removal of fitted connectors when installing.

No blanking cover

I have used various index marine cable glands of the old style so first one of the new type. I like the more rounded design. I would have given it 5 stars but it now does not have a blanking cover included for when you remove the wires when the mast is down. The old ones I had came with one. Can't use the bung as it has holes in it. I think this Index Marine should seriously consider including these again.
